Adobe Photoshop 10.5.8
Is there a specific download for Photoshop CS2 for a Mac 10.5.8 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. It may be an oversight on my part. The download that I was directed - 7429918. I'm running CS4 on a Mac Desktop running OSx 10.5.8. It has been working just fine. However, I've been having issues with the video card and have had to have it replaced 3 times. The latest video card swap was about a week ago. Prior to that, CS4 was running fine. Now when I launch it, it opens, then I open a file.

Custom brushes
Now you can use all the same brushes you love in Photoshop desktop with your Apple Pencil and Photoshop on iPad. You can find and download hundreds of brushes under the [+] icon in the brush panel. You can also go directly to Adobe.com from your iPad browser, download any of the ABR files we offer there, load them into your brush panel within the app and get started.
There are now so many ways to create and use unique brushes in Photoshop on iPad, including custom brushes created by top artists like Kyle Webster or inspired by Keith Haring. Here are just a few examples.
Kyle Webster’s Brushes
Kyle Webster’s brush packs are all available on Adobe.com for Creative Cloud subscribers. These packs are updated every season and offer hundreds of brushes covering watercolors, manga, lettering, and other unique effects.
Keith Haring Brushes, created exclusively for Adobe Fresco and Photoshop
Keith Haring believed art is for everybody. We do too. He took art beyond museum walls and into the streets, subway stations, and other public spaces. We’re celebrating his legacy with a collection of digital brushes inspired by his original tools — chalk, markers, spray paint, and more. They’re free to everyone using Adobe Fresco and also available in Photoshop desktop and now Photoshop on iPad. Download the brushes and spread Haring’s message of love, hope and equality. Create your own original brushes
Create your own brushes using the Adobe Capture app.
- Use Adobe Capture to create any brush file using your camera — make your own strokes on paper or take any photo or object and turn them into a custom brush.
- You can then save your brush to an .abr or send it directly to Photoshop on iPad.
Photoshop
Small improvements with big impact
We always like to include improvements that might seem small, but that have a big impact on common and important workflows. Here are two:
- You can now draw lines using vectors or pixels. In the past, it was just vectors. More info here.
- Transform warp guidelines, sometimes also called grid lines, have also been improved. This is really important for package designers. Now you can choose if grid lines are on or off by default. The grid size and line density is customizable. The color and opacity of the lines can also be customized so they are easier to see depending on the color of the image you are working with.
Adobe Camera Raw
Today we release 70 new presets in Adobe Camera Raw and Adobe Lightroom, custom created for Adobe by a diverse group of extraordinary, renowned photographers.
Presets are a great, one-click way to elevate your photo with a unique look, but presets are only as good as the people who make them. These new presets are meticulously crafted by incredibly talented photographers. The initial set of presets includes seven preset packs, each containing 10 to 15 high quality presets. Best of all, we’ll continue to expand the collection in future releases.

If Adobe® Photoshop® is running slow, freezing, crashing, locking up, unstable or otherwise flaky, FIRST be sure you have updated your Adobe applications, and Windows or Mac OSX operating system.
Where are the best expert tips about how to troubleshoot and uninstall Photoshop? How to reset Photoshop preferences, troubleshoot, step-by-step instructions with screenshots?
If you've done all the troubleshooting and reached the point of un-installing Photoshop to re-install, Archive install, clean install, or Erase your hard drive to 'nuke' problems like force quit required, won't open and program errors, be sure to first Deactivate Photoshop so you don't waste one of your limited Activations when you re-Activate.
How to uninstall Creative Suite CC 2014 6 5.5 4 3 CS6 CS3 CS4 CS5 Photoshop PSCS CS4 PS12 PS11 should ONLY be done in OS-X from an Adobe Uninstaller app: HardDrive> Applications> Utilities> Adobe Uninstallers — versus simply trashing the application folder as Mac users were able to do with CS1 and previous versions of Adobe Photoshop.

DEACTIVATION
If you are Uninstalling Photoshop be sure to first DEACTIVATE — Photoshop> Help> Deactivate — before uninstalling or you may need to contact Adobe customer service to explain the problem and perform a manual telephone activation. Again, be sure to perform the deactivation AND trash old Photoshop preferences before reinstalling Photoshop clean.
Is it legal to leave older versions of Photoshop installed when I upgrade? Will these older versions still run on my computer?

Basically, yes. Which versions of Photoshop will be able to work on your Power PC (PPC) or Intel Mac will depend on a combination of your operating system, processor, RAM, video card and Adobe Creative Suite. Things to read up on include: Universal applications, Rosetta emulation.

As far as leaving previous versions of Photoshop installed, I have CS, CS2 (for Image Ready), CS3, CS4 and CS5 installed on one of my Intel Mac Pros running 10.4.

Unless you have a reason for removing an older version of Photoshop when you upgrade, why not just leave it in place? I go back to ImageReady in CS2 quite often in Web publishing since ImageReady was replaced by Adobe FireWorks in CS3 (and I still don't get FireWorks).
