I started using Configurator at v1.3. It is very buggy, and I have encountered the same difficulties described by many of the reviewers on the App Store. The previous version, v1.2.1, is reportedly more stable. Unfortunately, I have been unable to locate a DMG for Configurator v1.2.1 either from Apple or anywhere else online.
