Evolve (Player.me) Evolve is a very good alternative for Hamachi if you want more features than just Virtual LAN gaming. It has inbuilt LAN support for almost all popular LAN games and also supports features like party mode and matchmaking. For those using older games over Hamachi, you probably utilized the recently deprecated 1.0.1.5. In the latest versions, you may need to enable tunnelling in our config file. This can be done by going into System Preferences Settings Advanced Settings, and scroll to the bottom to open the Sy.

Hamachi Resource Center

Hamachi is a very useful program developed by LogMeIn Inc that connects computers all over the world via a shared virtual network. It is free of charge and very easy to setup. Basically, what it does is, it installs a driver into your computer that acts as a direct link between you and your friends. This creates a virtual connection that emulates LAN, otherwise known as Local Area Network, as if users were all connected via one shared connection physically. This allows people to join your multiplayer games very easily without needing to know your actual IP address. For older games that allow IP connections, this is a great solution in case the game servers are no longer working or not supported anymore by their creators.

You may also try it for playing CoklatQQ to see if it works for classic games. So, you can easily enjoy your favorite games with friends.

Hamachi gives you the ability to host your own private games via a shared connection so you can play with your friends. People can join your Hamachi channel with a password of your choice and will immediately be connected to your network. From there, you can join their games or they can join yours. It also doesn’t matter what game it is. If the game supports multiplayer via direct IP or LAN, hamachi will be able to bridge all your connections through it. For example, if you want to play the game “Starcraft” with your friends without connecting to the official servers on battle.net, then Hamachi is a perfect way to connect with them via LAN and have sessions in private. In my case, I use it to play “Civilization IV” and “Civilization V” with friends who are located in other countries. It is a quick and easy way to setup a connection that will allow you to enjoy your games through a more secured gateway.

Here is a small guide of how to install and use Hamachi for the very first time:

Step 1:
Download Hamachi from the official website. Make sure you know where you end up saving it in your computer. (https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi2/)

**Hint: if the website is down, search google for “hamachi” (without quotation marks) and find an alternate download site**

Step 2:
Once finished, double-click the file to run it from wherever you saved it at.

Step 3:
A window should come up asking you to select a language for the installation.
Select the language you prefer. In my case, it was English.

Step 4:
Make sure you read every slide before clicking next. After you’ve selected everything and finish installing, make sure that the program is actually installed on your desktop. If you haven’t created an account yet, you’ll be asked to make one now.

Step 5:
Run Hamachi through the start menu or by double-clicking on its desktop icon.

Step 6:
Once you run Hamachi for the first time, it’ll take a moment to establish a connection to the Hamachi server. It will say “Probing…” but don’t worry, it has nothing to do with alien abductions.

Step 7:
When it is done, you can select three tabs in the program: “System” – “Network” – “Help”
Choose Network and decide whether to create a new one or join one. If your friends have a network, they have to give you their network name and password. Similarly, you must give your friends your network’s details in order for them to find your network.
